A National Bhavgeet Competition designed to celebrate the emotional and devotional depth of regional music.

About The Event

Triveni Sargam is a unique platform at the Vasantotsav 2026 by MIT Vishwaprayag University. It is designed to celebrate the emotional and devotional depth of Bhavgeet through young voices across the country. The competition invites participants to present semi-classical and regional Bhavgeet in Marathi, Kannada, or Telugu.

Competition Guidelines

Eligibility

  • Free for all college and university students
  • Must carry a valid student ID card
  • Bonafide Certificate from your institution
  • Official Declaration Letter is mandatory

Recording Rules

  • 3-minute clear audio clip (no modifications)
  • One tal vadya and one sur vadya permitted
  • Submit via email along with entry form

Selection Process

  • 15 best candidates will be shortlisted for the Grand Finale
  • Accommodation and meals provided for 15 selected participants
  • Live performance at Solapur on 8th March
  • 3-Tier AC travel reimbursement for winners

Performance Rules

Musical Accompaniment

  • Harmonium, Violin, Tanpura & Tabla allowed
  • Karaoke tracks are strictly prohibited
  • University provides basic instruments (as mentioned above) on request
  • Professional artists provided upon request

Artist Limits

  • Maximum of 3 accompanying artists allowed
  • Additional artists must be self-arranged
  • Decisions of the jury will be final
