Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from prospective students and parents

To apply for admission, submit an inquiry form on the website (www.mitvpu.ac.in) to receive your login information. Once you log in and complete your online application form, pay the ₹1,000 application fee to complete the application. Next, complete the selection process through the relevant entrance exam or portfolio review (for Design programs) and complete document verification. Full step-by-step details are on the Admissions page.

The merit list is prepared based on the score and criteria set for entrance exams. Programs offered in the School of Design consider interviews and reviews of portfolios.

Scholarships cover up to 100% of tuition, depending on entrance exam percentile, and include other fee waivers for state and national-level sportspersons. Please see full slabs on the Scholarships & Aid page under the Admission page for more information.

There are academic counselling, career counselling, mentorship, and a student wellbeing centre, which has a dedicated cell for mental health and personal support, available to students.

Students get to participate in several extracurricular activities during the year. This includes Student Clubs and Societies, Sports, and Cultural, and Technical Fests.

Yes. The Career Services team helps students with getting on-campus placements and internships and has established partnerships with companies that recruit across various industries.
