Bio

Prof. Aniket Supe is a dedicated design educator and visual artist with a specialized focus on Foundation and Intermediate pedagogy. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur, he leads core modules in Sketching & Drawing, Elements of Design, Visual Storytelling, Art Design & Culture, and Design Process. His teaching philosophy is grounded in "learning by doing," guiding young designers through the critical transition from raw artistic talent to structured design thinking.

Known for his experiential approach, Prof. Supe crafts innovative assignments that challenge students to think beyond the sketchbook integrating Design Thinking for Sustainability and interdisciplinary collaboration into the curriculum. Previously, Prof. Supe taught at Symbiosis Institute of Design and MIT-WPU, Pune, where he anchored Foundation and Intermediate studios and guided students through immersive craft documentation projects. Beyond instruction, he actively contributed to curriculum enhancement and academic jury panels.

Professional Experience

Beyond the classroom, Prof. Supe is an active practitioner exploring the intersections of traditional art and digital user experience. His illustrations have been featured in the published volume "The People Called Kolkata" (2019), and his research on "Advancing

Elderly Care Sustainability: A Conceptual Framework Integrating AI" (2024) demonstrates his ability to apply design thinking to complex social challenges.

He remains a lifelong learner, actively bridging the gap between manual craftsmanship and future-tech through professional certifications in Advanced Certification in UI/UX Design Strategy - E&ICT IIT Guwahati, UX Design (Google) and Human-Computer Interaction (Interaction Design Foundation). This unique blend of skills allows him to mentor students not just in how to draw, but in how to visualize for a digital-first world.
