Bio

Dr. Harshad Sakariya is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing, MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur, India. He completed his Master’s degree (Five-Year Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics) from S. V. National Institute of Technology, Surat. His Ph.D. thesis, titled “Numerical Study on Fractional Partial Differential Equations Using Radial Basis Functions,” was completed in the Department of Mathematics at S. V. National Institute of Technology, Surat.

His research interests include fractional calculus, nonlinear wave dynamics, scientific computing, and numerical methods for partial differential equations, with applications to tsunami modeling, shallow water waves, bioheat transfer, and tumor growth on irregular domains.

He has delivered courses in calculus, linear algebra, numerical analysis, probability, and statistics, integrating modern computational tools and innovative teaching methodologies to strengthen conceptual and analytical skills in engineering and science students.
