MITVPU Scholarships 

MITVPU offers financial assistance and scholarships to its meritorious students based on their academic performance in proposed National level/State Level entrance exams for the academic year 2024-25.

The Categories of Merit Scholarships are Detailed Below

MITVPU Merit Scholarship-I: This scholarship provides a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first year of the program to 3% of the total students’ intake. Provided the student secures. (The scholarship may be extended to the subject to academic performance and criteria decided by the university.)

  • For B.Tech JEE percentile or MHT-CET percentile shall be above 90%
  • For BBA, BCA MHT-CET percentile shall be above 90% and B.sc programs the 12th Scores (any stream) shall be above 90%
  • For B.Des NID, UCEED, CEED, DAT & PERA CET percentile shall be above 90%
  • For B.Pharm MHT-CET percentile shall be above 90%
  • For MBA Program MHTCET / CAT / XAT – Above 80% and MAT Score 90% above
  • For MCA program MHT- CET score shall be 90% and above

MIT-VPU Merit Scholarship-II: This scholarship provides a 50% fee waiver for the first year of the program and is applicable for 8% of the total students’ intake.

  • For B.Tech JEE percentile or MHTCET percentile shall be above 80%
  • For BBA, BCA MHT-CET percentile shall be above 80% and B.sc programs the 12th Scores (any stream) shall be above 80%
  • For B.Des NID, UCEED, CEED, DAT & PERA CET percentile shall be above 80%
  • For B.Pharm MHTCET percentile shall be above 80%.
  • For MBA Program MHTCET / CAT / XAT – Above 75% and MAT Score 80% above
  • For MCA program MHT- CET score shall be 80% and above

MIT-VPU Merit Scholarship-III: This scholarship provides a 25% fee waiver for the first year of the program and is applicable for 12% of the total students’ intake.

  • For B.Tech JEE percentile or MHT-CET percentile shall be above 75%
  • For BBA,BCA MHT-CET percentile shall be above 75% and B.sc programs the 12th Scores (any stream) shall be above 75%
  • For B.Des NID, UCEED, CEED, DAT & PERA CET percentile shall be above 75%
  • For B.Pharm MHTCET percentile shall be above 75%
  • For MBA Program MHTCET / CAT / XAT – Above 70% and MAT Score 70% above
  • For MCA program MHT- CET score shall be 70% and above

Scholarships to Elite Sportsperson: This scholarship is awarded to deserving sports persons based on their participation/winning the prizes at Nationally / Internationally recognized sports competitions / events. Any candidate who participates / wins a medal at west zone inter-university, all India inter-university, national or international level, while representing MIT-VPU or playing for any Govt. sponsored/ Govt. recognized official sports organization [IOA, BCCI, etc.]; in any nationally / internationally recognized sporting event; in individual or team sports; would be eligible for the following scholarship for the remaining period of the programme, only if he / she participates and wins a medal on the National / International Level.

If the student has secured a top 5 ranking position in a tournament (Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Shooting, Archery etc.) conducted by or affiliated with a recognized govt. sponsored/Govt. official sports organization or federation at National or International level, then he/she will be eligible for the participation scholarship.

As per the Academic calendar, (i.e. from 1st June – 31st May), if a student has secured a medal/rank in his 12th std. then he/she can apply for the scholarship, provided all the criteria is met, in the 1st year itself. Securing a rank in 1st year, will result in a scholarship being awarded in the 2nd year and so on. In case, a student is in the last academic year, then he/she can apply for a reimbursement in the same academic year only.

Note: An individual or team winning at West Zone, All India level, National or International level would be eligible for any one concession (whichever is higher).
